A personal touch on any surface
I’ve always loved making a homemade gift or “upcycling” an old piece. It’s the perfect way to show someone that you’re thinking of them. This mindset has allowed me to learn new skills and try new materials. I was fortunate to include this exploration in my job at Vintaj, from 2009 – 2014.
Multiple techniques were used to create unique pieces, including ink and stamp, alcohol inks, resin, transfers, and decoupage. Furthermore, I love to incorporate fabrics and textiles as well.
It’s a personal challenge that I cherish…to look at a piece, and see where inspiration takes me.

I’m busy developing lots of products using my painted crocheted flowers. I am so excited about this project and hope to have items in my Etsy shop soon!
Each First Seed flower is a unique work of art, beginning with an upcycled crocheted piece that is hand-painted with acrylic paint and sealed with acrylic sealer.
